Research Interests: Growth and characterization of electro-ceramic thin films, single crystals, ceramics, and nano-structured materials; especially ferroelectric, piezoelectric, solid state ionic, and semiconductor materials for the development of devices, such as sensors and actuators, nonvolatile memories, microwave dielectrics, electro-chromic and display devices; rechargeable batteries; investigations using laser Raman, infrared, dielectric, and photo-luminescence spectroscopies; phonon dynamics.
